Quality Analysts III

Duties: Assist Project Manager in the analysis, testing, and trouble-shooting of complex software projects focusing on quality and reliability of products and services.  Apply advanced theoretical knowledge of computer science and information technology principles and concepts, as well as experience with testing tools and technologies, to perform the following duties:  Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications and system requirement specification.  Perform build verification, GUI testing, functional testing, regression testing, disaster recovery testing, integration testing, system testing, performance testing, load/stress testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing. Assist Project Manager with developing test plans and test cases for different scenarios.Implement and coordinate testing methodologies (Waterfall, RUP and Agile) and testing tools.  Lead and monitor the coordination of test teams, both onsite and offsite.  Generates and analyzes defects reports and document QA requirements in Define phase.Responsible for the development ofdeployment plans. Develop and monitor test plans based on business needs and agreements with trading partners.  Develop and monitor test plans for overall data load and data extract subsystems that integrate with the EDI tool. Add and change SQL Server logons, users, and groups.  Analyze data migration planning. Involvement in resource planning/allocation and time estimates for functional system/performance testing, creating and analyzing traceability matrix.  The foregoing duties involve supervision of projects only, not personnel.  May perform other job duties considered normal to this occupation.

Requirements: The normal minimum requirements for the offered position are:Master’s degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology or a related IT or Engineering field of study that provided the required skills and knowledge, plus 3 years of related experience in any position that provided the required skills and abilities.  In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, the employer will accept a related bachelor’s degree and 5 years of post-degree, progressive experience in any related position providing the required skills and abilities. Employer will accept a foreign degree.  Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.  The term suitable, in this context, means substantially compatibility with stated job academic level and experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.
