Business Analysts III

Duties:Assist Project Manager with carrying out software projects designed to improve and enhance business processes and enhance operational efficiency.  Apply advanced theoretical knowledge of management and business problem-solving principles and concepts to perform the following duties: Coordinate gathering and organizing information on problems or procedures. Document findings and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. Responsible for the development, integration and definition of Systems Process procedures and roadmaps. Review documentation and analyze data gathered to develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding. Confer with concerned personnel and management to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.Responsible for providing content knowledge for ongoing process development and sustain user base support. Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used. Utilize business management software, service and materials management, and production planning to assist Project Manager in designing, evaluating, and recommending, and approving changes of forms and reports. Determine the causes of business problems and clearly explain the consequences of unsolved problems. Plan procedures, such as organizational change, communications and information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.  The foregoing duties involve supervision of projects only, not personnel.  May perform other job duties considered normal to this occupation.

Requirements:The normal minimum requirements for the offered position are: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or any related Business or IT management field of study that provided the required skills and knowledge, plus three years of experience in any related position providing the required skills and abilities. In lieu of the above-state primary education and experience requirements, the employer will accept a related bachelor’s degree and 5 years of post-degree, progressive experience in any related position providing the required skills and abilities. Employer will accept a foreign degree.  Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.  The term suitable, in this context, means substantially compatibility with stated job academic level and experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.
